INTRODUCTION TO JOHN

Every person is a theologian; everybody has a belief system about God. The Gospel of John was written so that we might believe Jesus is God. John wants us to see that Jesus revealed God as Father and that He is the way to the Father. In this first video, Anna introduced the theme of John’s gospel and the layout of the Mosaic Temple found within. She also explains the method of study she will be using as a template to help you dig deeper on your own.

THE COVENANTS

The key to understanding the Bible is to understand the five major covenants. In this video, Anna teaches the purposes of Jesus’ coming, and the types and purposes of the five major covenants. When you understand the covenants, you will begin to see how God relates with humanity and the relationship He invites us into.

MOSAIC COVENANT

In this session, Anna teaches in detail what is known as “The Law of Moses”, how and why it was enacted, and what its purpose is. Does it still serve a purpose today, and how are we, as New Covenant believers, to understand it? Anna also covers the Davidic Covenant and how Jesus fulfilled it.

BEHOLD JESUS IN THE HOLY OF HOLIES

As John follows the pattern of the Mosaic Temple, this session begins where Jesus began His journey toward mankind. “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.” John 1:18 In this session, Anna focuses on Beholding Jesus in the Holy of Holies- the bosom of the Father.

BEHOLD JESUS IN THE COVERINGS, VEIL, TRIBES

Jesus is in every detail of the Mosaic Temple. When you see that the story of Redemption is woven into the very fabrics God instructed Moses to make, the Gospel of John becomes more meaningful. What do the fabrics have to do with John? Hebrews tells us that the Veil is Jesus’ flesh. “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” John 1:14 Beholding Jesus in the Tribes of Isreal is a surprise story which is covered in this session.

BEHOLD JESUS: THE HOLY PLACE AND OUTER COURT

As we exit John’s Prologue in the Book of Signs, each chapter of John echoes each article found in the Holy Place and Outer Court. As we learn what each article represents and its deeper meaning, the signs John chose to show us are the proof that Jesus was the fulfilment of and redemption of the Law.

HE CAME OUT TO BRING US IN

In this final teaching, we see how Jesus was the door of the gate, gathering His sheep. He came out from the bosom of the Father, took all judgment upon himself, and brought us back with Him into the Holy of Holies- back into sonship. John shows us that it is not our works that make us righteous; it’s Christ’s righteousness. We are safe In Him. This is the Book of Glory.
