Building Work Before Thanksgiving

Taqui Quintana and his right hand man, Joe, were getting HVAC done all the way up until Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. These guys are work horses, but actually better than that. They do everything they do as unto the Lord. I’m very honored to have them working on our project. I had ideas that maybe a team from the church would be able to do the ducting to save on money, but this is above our pay grade. It took pros to get this big project done. Being that they were working so diligently, I felt compelled to bring them fresh Starbucks Coffee in the morning and Caldo Soup from Mama Margies at noon. I’ve never seen happier subcontractors in my life. They were so happy I thought they were going to add me to their will.

Not only did the HVAC guys happily work, but Taqui’s friend Ismael Martinez and his right hand man, Nacho, were getting after it. Ismael is a true blue guy like Taqui. I guess that’s why they run together. Ismael has been sending me to get supplies and the most surprising pick up was a spool of wire that weighed about 600 lbs. It was crazy heavy and it took 3 of us to unload it and lock it up for safe keeping.

Last but not least, Todd and Taffy Timmons are making a huge dent in the doorjamb work. All of the doors and door jambs will be natural select pine wood with a clear coat finish. You are going to love it! And isn’t God amazing to send us a door expert of 40 years to do our doors. I’m starting to understand how Solomon of old felt when it came to building the First Old Testament Temple. He had nothing but the best artisans and I’m convinced the Lord has brought us nothing but the best as well. We are getting precise measurements and second-to-none quality craftsmanship. Wow, only the wonders of Almighty God!
