Courageous Men's Meeting
The men had a great time together at Courageous Men’s Meeting this past Wednesday evening. Pastor Ted led out in a time of worship and prayer to prepare hearts to receive from God’s word.
Then Brian King shared a moving message about allowing the Holy Spirit to inspect our hearts and lives like a home inspector inspects a home before a new home owner buys a home. And how we can say like King David in the Bible, “Create a clean heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)
And Chris Flores followed it up with an inspiring message about “Declaring Victory.” Chris showed the men how he wrote promises of God in his Bible, as daily reminders, concerning specific areas he’s expecting Jesus to give him victory in. Jesus won the victory at the cross and through His powerful resurrection, so that we can lay hold of His promises today.
Then the men broke out into small groups to catch up on life, have conversations about the messages presented, and pray together about their needs.
God is moving mightily among the men of LifeShare and we hope you can join us next month, when we meet again.
