Bobby and Clarissa Ponce's Jesus Story

God is moving in the lives of our church family! He’s such a good and loving God!

“All it took was one visit to LifeShare Church to feel welcomed. One Sunday to rekindle a relationship with Christ. Our faith has grown immensely within the few months of joining LifeShare. God has come through time and time again for us. Prayers have been answered and we have learned that God will never fail, but always prevail. We love LifeShare and the ministry that is led by great followers of Christ.” - Ponce Family

John and Vanessa Dearman Jesus Story

Check out this awesome testimony from the Dearman family. We are so blessed to have them as a part of LifeShare Church!

“I am grateful to be a part of LifeShare Church because its leadership is guiding the church to become a community that is powerful in prayer.

Earlier this year my wife needed an official citizenship document replaced so that she could apply for a U.S. passport so we could return to her home country of Bolivia for a visit this summer. When we went to renew the document we were surprised that it would take a year to receive and that would have made us miss our trip.

We believed God had a better plan. We asked our friends and fellow church members at LifeShare to pray for God to work a miracle so we could get all our travel documents in time for the summer trip. We have been learning through teaching at LifeShare to trust the Holy Spirit to move and do mighty things, and He did!

God was so faithful and answered our prayers. He helped that travel document to get expedited and arrive on time and He helped pave the way for our trip. We are thankful to God for his many blessings and his perfect timing.” - John Dearman

We are so thankful for our amazing youth and their hearts to serve the Lord and others! Check out Kiersten’s story!

“Some people say that at my age, it’s too young to fully expect Christ in your life. In my opinion, you are never too young. When you know that Jesus is calling you, there are endless possibilities of what you can do. For a very long time I’ve always felt that I was called to be involved with children’s ministry. When Mrs. Jamie asked me if I would like to help, I jumped out of my seat and happily said yes. I just love hanging around the kids and helping them find out who Jesus is! It is so amazing to see how their little faces light up when you say “Jesus loves you!” Not only am I blessed to say I’m a Kidmin leader but I’m so blessed to say that I am involved in Lifeshare Church. They have taught me how to grow inside and outside of the church. Before I had started in Kidmin I never felt like speaking up about Jesus. I was just too scared. I now have the confidence to spread the love and word of God. I’m so in love with this church and it only keeps on growing!” ❤️

Brian and Stephanie Sinclair Jesus Story

God is moving in the lives of our LifeShare Church family! Check out this awesome testimony from the Sinclair family, who dedicated baby Simeon this past Sunday:

In mid-May, we welcomed Baby Simeon to our family. He has already brought such joy to our family and continues to surprise us with his strength and sweet smiles. A few months into our pregnancy, Brian was reading in the book of Luke and was touched by the prophetic words Jesus received as an infant at the temple by a man named Simeon. He immediately felt an urging that this would be a special name for our son.

Months went by of discussing different name options and waiting for confirmation from the Lord on what name to choose. Three months before he was born, during worship at Lifeshare, I was praying about the baby’s name. I clearly heard that his name is to be Simeon Christopher, and that he will hear God and be heard by God as he lives his life for Christ. That was the confirmation we both had prayed for and felt certain that this name is tied to a special calling that our son will carry throughout his life.

We are so grateful for the awesome worship ministry at Lifeshare Church because the atmosphere makes it so easy to open our hearts for the Holy Spirit to work in amazing ways while also preparing us for a powerful message.

The love and support that we’ve received during our pregnancy and in these first several weeks of Simeon’s life has been so touching and helpful.

We so appreciate our entire Lifeshare Church family! — Brian and Stephanie Sinclair

Linda Cantu Jesus Story

About 6 months ago, I started noticing pain in my left hip and in the joints of my hands. A few of my fingers would swell and my joints would hurt. Of course, you start thinking the worse. The doctor informed me that it could be arthritis. Immediately I told myself, “NO.” I wouldn't accept that diagnosis. Unfortunately, as the months went on, my pain would come and go.

I joined LifeShare Church about a year ago and started attending the monthly ladies meetings. During these meetings, when the ladies would pray for prayer requests, I would see God do and answer in mighty ways. One night I decided to ask this great group of prayer warrior's to pray and intercede that my joint pain would leave. And they did!

About a week or so later, I noticed my hip and joints weren’t hurting, and my fingers weren't swelling!
God had healed me and used these ladies, to be part of His miracle!

Recently, I started feeling shoulder and neck pain due to stress. I had been under some stress due to my mom and her illness.

A few weeks ago at LifeShare, I decided to go up to the alter and ask for prayer for my mom, even though my shoulder was in pain. I remember just taking a deep breath and releasing it, then telling God, “my mom and her sickness are yours.” I felt a release and a warm feeling covering from my neck to my shoulder. As the day progressed, the pain was less and less. By the next morning I had no more pain! I’m still pain free! HALLELUJAH!

I do believe in prayer and miracles. I’m so thankful to be a part of a church that focuses on prayer and allows God to move in miraculous ways! LifeShare Church came into my life when I was in a difficult place.
I’m so thankful to Jesus for always watching out for me and directing me to a church where I belong. He placed me in a group of people who love and support me unconditionally! Pastor Ted and Anna have a big heart for God and His people. You can feel and see it every time we come together as a church family.

All honor and Glory go to our Heavenly Father! - Linda Cantu

Cindy Ochoa Jesus Story

I was going through the most difficult part of my life when I moved to San Antonio and found LifeShare Church. I moved and knew I needed to rekindle my relationship with Christ. I hopped from church to church looking for the right one. I wanted a mid-size intimate church that I could call home. A church that I could grow genuine friendships in.

I came across LifeShare through a google search and immediately fell in love. I was brought to tears my first service here. The rawness in how Pastor Ted did the service shook me to my core. We worshiped, he preached, and instead of ending the service with a typical closing prayer like most churches I'd been to, he asked for anyone needing prayer, healing, or just love to raise their hands and encouraged the members to pray for these people. The church immediately laid hands on them, prayed over them, cried with them, and just loved on them. A few women had their hands on one lady and were fervently praying over her. The men were praying over each other as well.

Pastor Ted walked off stage, put his hand on a woman and started commanding healing over her and blessings over the church. I could tell this wasn't scripted or planned. I remember being in tears when I looked around and saw so much love in the room.

Pastor Ted did what he felt the Spirit was telling him to do. That's when I knew this was now my church. This church has been my biggest blessing! - Cindy Ochoa
