God Is Love

Pastor Ted continued our series in 1 John with a powerful message titled: “God Is Love.”

You have the greatest defense attorney of all time—Jesus, the Righteous One—standing before the Father and declaring you free and not guilty, if you will only believe and receive His sacrifice that removes all judgment. The enemy may accuse you, but Jesus defends you. And when we begin to grasp how deeply Jesus loves us, our hearts are drawn to obey His commands—not out of obligation, but out of love. His commands bring blessing and help us truly love one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.

“But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.” (1 John 2:5–6)
